Universe VCP: WELCOME DINNER

Isn't it GREAT to be back at uni for another year? What's that? I hear groans...Well luckily, with the return of lectures and pracs and 8:30am starts, we have the return of UNIVERSE

to counteract! On the 4th of March, we kicked off the start of the teaching period with the 3 Fs; food, fun and fellowship!

It was so wonderful seeing FOODINC packed out with hungry stomachs...much more than we were expecting! Thankfully the food was top notch and our cravings for good food were satisfied. While waiting for the main meal we had a round of "bang bang" with CDs given away to the winners. Quite the incentive to remember people's names! It could have costed you your life! (well not really..but it could have costed you the opportunity to win the above mentioned CDs!) We were introduced to our president Adrian, lecturer Phil Bergen and Pastor Vic who all encouraged us that this year (and our life) would be more than just study. We have the potential to really make a difference to truly impact. Don't let time go by without making it count for eternity.

Thanks to all who came and made it such an amazing night. Jumping around the room, you could hear conversations flowing as new friendships were made and old ones were enjoyed. Hope to see you all again at our prayer meetings on Monday and Friday, Tuesday meetings and awesome events planned!
