Who could resist an offer like that haha xP!A lot of ppl ask me “hey Stel, why are you soo cheery all the time?” and if you ask my friends, they’d agree I’m a lil too loud, a bit on the weird and quirky side, but overall a funny-happy person.
Well, life hasn’t always been a bed of roses for me, and I’ve been through my fair share of painful thorns. I was not raised in a Christian family, in fact we were Buddhist, supposedly, but I wasn’t a hardcore fan of either at the time. So I can definitely relate to the atheistic skepticism that a lot of ppl have about what it means to be a Christian. But if you take the time to really consider and explore who Jesus is, I’d guarantee a change in your perspective. I came to know Christ when I was 18, and since then, my life has never been the same.
Indeed, the challenging storms and torrents in my life didn’t cease, but they did subside as I entrusted more of myself to God. Although life has thrown me all sorts of surprises, others a lil less pleasant than most, I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I didn’t have Christ in my life, especially during the difficult times. Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For it is only after we get through the tough times that we can really cherish and be grateful for the joyful times in life! The credit goes to JESUS. The only one who can fully understand whatever emotional rollercoaster you may be going through, is Him. Indeed, trials and challenges are an opportunity to develop perseverance, and as I held on to my faith, I developed in my character. I thank God for the difficult times, for it was then that I came to understand His grace, His unfailing love, and His faithfulness. My life is good, because God is good. I choose to be grateful, for I know how richly God has blessed me. No one is immune to experiencing God’s love, it is a gift that He freely gives, and all you have to do is receive it.
