What a Roundup!

It's only Wednesday, but my, has it been a phenomenal week so far!

On Tuesday we had our first weekly meeting, and what better way to start us off but with some food? Starting from 12pm, a few regulars got together ( + Jackie! the first first year!) to get things started with a short prayer meeting. Then from 1pm, 3rd and 4th years headed out to lectures (except for a certain few committed members!) and in came in the food and first years for a Potluck!

The theme for the day, I believe, was chicken. Even though there was no mention of it in the emails, we got plenty of it! Indah - Curry CHICKEN, Jess - Ginger CHICKEN (yes there was A LOT of ginger! It was very nice though!), Lewis / Henza - Kentucky fried CHICKEN. Me - Coleslaw: definitely not chicken; I must have missed something. Following some good food, there was a word of welcome and GAMES! Charades always proves to be hilarious!

But the fun didn't end there! Starting from 6pm we held our Annual Welcome Dinner once again at the classy FOOD INC! And yes, with the tiny signs, I bet few of us knew that the place was indeed Food Inc! Let's see some pixels do the talking:

Whoa! Around 60 people attended the dinner, with special guests Pastor Vic and Tam Nguyen, pharmacist, proprietor, and past Universe (formerly SFC) member!

Food! Here we have ... I've forgotten what they're called. Good food! And these were just the entree's too!
